| In far Northern California lies the diverse and beautiful Sierra Cascade region.
Explore scenic back country roads and you might experience the majestic waterfalls of Burney State Park or McCloud River Falls - Northern California's most scenic and famous waterways! There is something for everyone to discover and enjoy. This is the perfect escape from the fast pace of city life and offers pure relaxation or an excellent starting point for a new adventure. KEY STOPS INCLUDE: * McArthur Burney Falls - The 129-foot Picturesque waterfalls! * McCloud River Falls - Three marvelous waterfalls, each within easy walking distance of each other! * Mossbrae Falls - One of the most unique and beautiful waterfall. * Lassen Volcanic National Park. ACCOMMODATIONS: Enjoy a taste of the country in a privately owned home nestled on the 400 acre Albaugh Ranch in the beautiful Fall River Valley. With exquisite views, this is the perfect vacation home! Lush green lawns and an arbor of maple, walnut and apple trees create an intimate setting, while a backdrop of barns, fields and mountains enhance the array of photographic opportunities, all in one location. SATURDAY: Rising early we prepare breakfast and lunch and head off for a fun day of hiking, sightseeing and exploring. * McCloud River Falls * Mossbrae Falls * Cook a delicious meal at vacation home, ending the day with some drinks and socials. Sunday: After breakfast leaving house at 10:00AM * McArthur Burney Falls * Lassen Volcanic National Park TRIP COST: $198.00 Early-bird $218.00 Regular Rate This adventure includes 2 nights at beautiful vacation home, 5 meals (2 breakfast, 2 lunch and 1 dinner) and all park fees. CARPOOLING: It is a roughly 5 hour drive and we will help with setting up carpools. Recommended gas sharing: $35 for this trip. TEAM EFFORT Your Asian Connection enjoys the trips we have planned for you now and in the future. Please keep in mind, we are able to keep our prices at a reasonable cost due to everyone helping out and pitching in to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner meals as a team. It is somewhat overwhelming if only a few assist and others do not help out, so please keep in mind, when signing up, that we like to encourage everyone to use "the team effort approach." Helping prepare, cook and clean up goes more smoothly and quickly when everyone pitches in and this can be lots of fun as well. TRIP CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellation penalties apply to all our over night trips. A minimum administrative fee of $25 for weekend trips. In the event a cancellation occurs before a trip leaves and a replacement is found, deposits and payments will be refunded, less the YAC admin fee.  |
